FAQs - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    • The quickest way to make a reservation is to give us a call on 88381838.

    • please note as we are open for dinner only, we aim to respond to calls, social and emails from 2:00pm onwards.

    • If you book 8 or more days in advance, you will receive 8% off the menu set you pre-order and book.

    • If you book 5 to 7 days in advance, you will receive 5% off the set pre-order and book.

    • The sets are Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, Miss Korea, Char Char Char and Seoul Taster.

    • All other items are normal price.

    • Depending on the day, we start our last orders around 8:00pm onwards for weekdays. On the weekends, last orders are anywhere between 8:30-9:15pm.

    • After Last Orders are finished, You may stay until our closing times.

    • We understand we have closing times between 9:30-11:00pm. However, it does take a significant amount of time for us to start cleaning and closing the kitchen down.

    • Therefore we can usually only take our last bookings around the time we take last orders.

    • Hinoak can hold up to 50 people at a time.

    • Usually tables can fit 6-9people sitting down together, then a small gap and another 6-9people.

    • The gap is for our friendly staff to serve and do the cooking for you.

  • We will endeavour to allocate your requested time. However, we may contact you with the closest times available for the day. Predominantly sessions run for 90minutes and over depending on the day.

    • Hinoak will do the cooking for you. This is not your ordinary bbq grill. Our staff are trained to ensure the meat is cooked properly for you to enjoy.

    • You will be given a pair of tongs so that you can be a part of the process as well.

    • The standard dine in time is around 90minutes.

    • In our off-peak times, we can sometimes extend those times for you.

    • Please ask our friendly staff, call, email or DM us if we can provide more time for you.

    • On an average of 4 meats. From the time we put the first meat in and the last meat is cooked, takes about an hour.

    • Usually in 90minutes, guests can order and finish their meal.

    • We understand sometimes there is traffic and things can hold us up.

    • If you have an end time. Usually this is because there are bookings directly after your reservation.

    • Sometimes we can move other reservations around and extend the time for your reservation.

    • If we can’t do this, we do apologise as it is out of our control and will need the table back at the designated end time.

  • Yes. Our Wagyu beef and Chicken are all Halal.

    • 1 table can usually hold 4 medium sized adults. The 5th person sometimes may need to squeeze in depending on the day you are booking.

    • There is a 4 story multi level car park directly opposite the restaurant. (Syndal Station)

    • There is also on- street parking available and around the area.

    • Also because of the convenience, if you drive around 20minutes around kingsway trying to find a car-park, then drive down coleman pde for a night out at Hinoak. (Call ahead to see if there is a reservation available)

  • Yes, we also do take the cards listed as payment. There may be a surcharge from our merchant applied.

  • Since we have first opened, we are proud to say we are a restaurant that does not use MSG.

  • We do not have surcharges for Saturday or Sunday. However, visa, mastercard, union pay and american express surcharges may apply.
